How to Upgrade Firmware:
- Copy the Required Firmware/software in FAT32 USB Disk
- Plugin the U disk into the Mainboard USB port of LCD/LED TV
- Switch ON the power and Wait even IR indicator led flashing in speed
- Done. Unplug the U-disk (It will take a max of 1 min to upgrade firmware)
- It continues to flash and never stop. This is normal, just wait about 1 minute, this means that the update is complete. Then turn off and turn off the u-disk

i bought the T.V56.03 CONTROLLER BOARD (TSUMV56RUU-Z1 / A7MPP46A / 1829A)
for the old hp laptop screen innolux BT156GW01 V3.
The firmware it came with is 8bit colour and the screen is 6bit.
Is that a configuration setting I can do without updating the firmware?
or do I have to download this 1366×768 firmware of yours?
no need to update software. you can make changes in the service menu. press Menu then 1147 then panel setting and change bit mode or LVDS
In the menu (menu + 1147 or input +2580) it doesn’t allow to change to 6-bit
or to change LVDS MAP or CHANNEL.
not with left and right arrows or enter.
Is there a trick to change it? or do i need to upgrade the firmware?

I could fix it without updating the firmware.
The problem is V56 doesn’t allow you to change manually the
COLOUR BIT
LVDS MAP
LVDS CHANNEL
in the PANEL SETTINGS, the first option is the PRESET ID.
only there you can change it.
It was at 0 for me. i could change it to 1 and, when i tryed to change forward to 2 it went all black, so I got back to 1 or 0.
ONLY THEN, i tried to keep going forward even though the screen was all black…and shazam! at the number 5, the bit colour changed to 6bit, and LVDS MAP and CHANNEL was set right and my screen is perfect now.
If anyone face this problem that’s the right solution to it.
