LED TV Backlight Inverter Protection

LED TV backlight driver board circuit bypassing is required when there is some minor issue in the led backlights during the repair of LCD/LED TV or fault diagnosis. Each led backlight driver ic has a protection circuit in it that can bypass the issue and keep running the backlights. Here is below the different LED TV Backlight Driver ICs protection or bypassing methods are given for testing and easy troubleshooting purposes only.

Permanent bypassing may cause the led tv backlights to burn or the circuit to damage itself. Bypassing of the led tv inverter board circuit is for only expert technicians and the bypassing procedure given below is for educational purposes only. If you are not a technician then do not play with the board or not try to bypass it.

Note: It is very necessary after successful repairing restore the protection of the backlight driver circuit for the smooth working/operation of LCD/LED TV.

You should first download the datasheet of drive ic and then find the signal pin which needs to bypass to remove or disable the protection. The signal pin name may be as the following:

TIMER, OVP, SST, CMP, FT, SCP, CP, CT

    Sir, T.R85.031 ya T.VST59 board main jo 6-pin inverter connector hota hai, us main jo 2 GROUND ki pins hain,
    woh common hoti hain ya separate?

      mostly we use 1k to 10k. if you have the protection pin number then you can try

    I am trying to find the same for BD9412F.
    I try follow similar ones by connecting a 10K resistor from Pin9 to ground.
    But no luck.
